EQ FOODS DIDN'T BEGIN IN A BOARD ROOM.

It began in Macquarie Fields, NSW – in a small suburban kitchen, with a simple frustration.

The protein snacks available across Australia were either low-grade, overpriced, or built more for marketing than performance. The macros didn’t justify the cost. The taste didn’t justify the calories. And the quality didn’t justify the trust.

So Founder Eathan Jackson decided to build something better. With limited resources but a relentless standard, he developed his first formula: The Growth Cookie.

A high-protein, calorie-dense cookie designed for real training output and real results. It wasn’t created to sit on a shelf. It was created to fuel performance.

That first cookie laid the foundation. And as demand grew, so did the vision.

Eathan went on to formalise his knowledge, becoming a Food Scientist and refining the formulations that would define the brand. What started as one cookie became a structured system catered for everyone bettering themselves:

The Lean Cookie – high protein, controlled calories, built for disciplined progress.

The Growth Cookie – balanced fuel for muscle development and recovery.

The XL Cookie – a 1,000+ calorie, 60g+ protein powerhouse built for serious mass and serious output.

Each product was engineered with intention. Not to mimic the market, but to raise the standard.

EQ Food evolved beyond a single product. It became a brand built around Emotional Intelligence – understanding not just what the body needs, but what people deserve: quality ingredients, honest macros, and food that actually tastes like food.

As production scaled, EQ Food partnered with major names across Australia, while maintaining the original principle: never compromise on formulation.

But the mission was always bigger than cookies.

Coming from hardship himself, Eathan believed food should never be a privilege. He envisioned a model where every calorie sold would be matched and redirected toward feeding homeless Australians, starting in the heart of Sydney CBD, partnering with non-profit organisations to make the movement possible.

“You Eat. We Donate.”

Before that vision could fully materialise, Eathan passed away unexpectedly on September 19th, 2025.

His work, however, did not end there.

Today, his father and head manager continue the mission of preserving the formulas, protecting the quality, and expanding the impact. The goal remains unchanged:
